The Prince of Wales has been announced as the first ever Vice Patron of the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), joining The Queen who has been Royal Patron of the Society since her coronation in 1953.
ZSL's Director General Ralph Armond commented 'The Prince's commitment to stopping illegal wildlife trade is very closely aligned with ZSL's conservation work, and he has shown particular interest in the conservation technology we are developing, including next generation cameras that will be used by park rangers to help catch poachers'.
